About the DIA Project
live light
Moving beyond boundaries of art, design, culture, nature, and ecology, we seek to bring together element of science and aesthetics to create hybrid objects of sustenance and beauty. Like food, shelter, air and water, beauty is not a luxury. It is critical to our spirit. In our ever increasing modern and urban lifestyle how do we find love and light? How can art provide for us?
In collaboration, Lisa Lee Benjamin, Mica Gross and Chris Rogers have created the first version of luminous food.
Glowing from the inside, the translucent, hand poured recycled resin boxes sprout an endless variety of heirloom edibles. This vegetal palette will include vegetables, herbs, and flowers and will allow us to create and evolve a painting with light and life.

33 IDEAS!, an exhibit of art, writing and ideas
March 15-June 15,
2010
Denver International Airport
This exhibit showcases visual and literary artists associated with Colorado Art Ranch as presenters, artists in residence, or Nomads at one or more Artposia. The artists were selected because they use their passion, skills, knowledge, and talent to ask questions and react to the world around them. The work, in turn, inspires us to ask questions and view the world from different perspectives.
33 IDEAS! is on display at the Ansbacher Hall: The Art of Colorado, on the walkway between the terminal and A Gates before the security screening. The hall is accessible for everyone’s enjoyment.
